Rotary Pioneer Adventure Day

SAVE THE DATE - Sunday 2 May 2027

Rotary Pioneer Adventure Day (2) is for farming and rural families trying to recover from 3 years of horrific drought.

These families are invited to register toattend the event at Old Tailem Town Pioneer Village (Princes Highway, Tailem Bend) on Sunday 2nd May 2027 to experience a FREE day of fun, music, entertainment, dancing, food and health checks.

Our ENTERTAINMENT HUB will offer great music with live bands on stage, surrounded by tasty food offerings.

OLD TAILEM TOWN will again come alive with interactive displays and activities for Kids of all ages (including 90 year old kids!)

GROCERY GIVEAWAYS to help families who are struggling to survive replenish theirpantries.

The HEALTH HUB will offer free Health Checks for farmers affected by isolation and challenged by access to such services.

Rotary's local District 9510 (most of South Australia, up to Alice Springs, across to Broken Hill and the Riverina region) is comprised of about 80 Clubs - many of them uniting to host this day to support South Australian Farmers and regional small businesses!

What a Wonderful Day: 3rd May 2026

From the moment gates opened at 9am, families flowed in. Many thought they'd stay an hour or two ... but there was so much to see and do, most stayed for four or five hours.
